Covid-19 is just a bump in the road

The Covid pandemic has slowed down the economies of America and Vietnam, and yes, it has limited our ability to travel.  But that is OK.  We are still planning our retirement to Vietnam, full-speed ahead.  It was less than a year ago that Maison and I were walking without masks down the streets of Hanoi.   I started this blog as a way to write about our preparations and what it takes to retire early and relocate to Vietnam.  I hope you will follow along. I plan to write about investment strategies, house hunting/selling, arranging the shipment of household goods/unaccompanied baggage, etc.  If my employer is willing to allow me to retire early, and given the effects of the pandemic, that may be a big IF right now, but we are still planning towards August 2021 to relocate.  Follow along. . .
